ICON Advance (one of the group companies) signed a contract to establish a joint venture for solar panels in the city of Dammam, with the Finnish company Valo.
ICON Advance was represented upon signing the contract by His Excellency Ahmed bin Salem Balhamer, CEO of Salem Balhamer Holding Group, during his visit to Expo Dubai, in the presence of the Finnish Minister of Economy and the Ambassador of Finland to the United Arab Emirates.
The factory will produce solar panels, technology transfer, training, and initial operation of the factory, which extends over a vast area in the city of Dammam.
During his reception in the Principality of the Eastern Province, Ante Ritofori briefed the Finnish Ambassador in the Kingdom, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef, Governor of the Eastern Province; On the details of the project, Ritofori praised the partnership between the Saudi and Finnish companies, stressing that this project will enhance the strength of the relationship between the two friendly countries, expressing his admiration for the rapid steps and leaps that the Kingdom has made to attract foreign investments.
